What to do for work experience?

That time has come. I have to organise my work experience. Here's my dilemma:

I have absolutely no idea what to do.

It would help if I knew what I wanted to do when I leave school. I don't.

Vaguely, I'd like to do something with computers, but I'm not sure what.

So, work experience? Something vague, something skill-based that could apply to anything.

Any ideas?

Additional Details

I don't want job ideas, I'm looking for work experience ideas. In case I didn't make that clear enough.

Well, most local councils have large numbers of computers and computer networks. contact your local council.

• Your position and feelings are not unique. There have been many who haven't identified what we enjoy doing. If you say the computer field interests you why not give these a look and maybe something will strike gold. Keep in mind that you'll need specialized training and that a host of others will be up against you for the position in this down economy. Good luck.
