Please help employer qustion on discrimination?
Hi there, i work at a warehouse- i have returned to work 2months ago after 1 year sick leave. I returned to work on the basis that my employer will give me a light duty job which i have been doing untill today. I am also classed as disabled. Today i went in to work and my employer put me on the duty of cashiering which i am not able to do as sustaind physical activity casues damage to my muscles. The light job i was doing was given to a pregnant woman today so it wasnt avaliable for me to do. My doctor also wrote me letter confirming that i need to carry out light cashier duty only and in our warehouse the cashier duty is not light at all so they gave me a different job to meet my needs. As i am not able to do the cashiering job what should i do ? The assistant manager said to my why have i come back to work when im not fit to work! Basically i am fit to work but only light duties and no heavy lifting etc. Is the assistnat manager discriminating against my disability by trying to make me a job that i am not capable of doing as it will have an impact on my health ? Also i have been working there for four years as part time. Would the employer have to find me a suitble alternate job to suit my disability ? As there are plenty of jobs avaliable that they can appoint me to. please advise

Hi, I am an paralegal. I do employment law.
I need some information from you:
Where you are located, city, state.
How many employees the employer has, that are full time, how many are part time.
Does the topic employer do anything involving interstate commence?
Anyway, what is the nature of the business, it it a store, etc. ?
I am helping you in good faith, as this may be a public policy issue,
