Need to make a call...?

Applied for a job application a week or so ago and havn't heard anything, i had to apply via email. And they gave no contact number...what should i do now? Go onto there public website and call them from there main number it has there? And then say what? Im nervous on the phone so what should i say? And who should i ask for? Thanks in advance x

First ask for the Human Resource department.
When connected say: "Good Afternoon, My name is (Say name) I'm phoning to check the progress of my application.
