  • Check out non-profit organizations. Go onto CharityNavigator.org. Find organizations that appeal to you and then go to their websites to see if they are hiring.

    Also, every large corporation has a community liason department. When you go to Target you see signs about how much they've donated to the community - that's the department responsible at the corporate headquarters. Same with pharmaceutical ads that say "If you can't afford medicationname call company to see if we can help" - same department. Many large corporations sponsor scholarships, and various charity events.
  • you could work for FEMA my friend's dad works for it and he says its always great to see a smile on peoples faces or you could be a worker at the soup kitchen but you don't get paid
