Apart from doctor and lawyer, how many other careers are acknowledged as being one of the "proffessions"?

i'd like a comprehensive list of jobs that count as one of the professions.

What constitutes as a profession has changed somewhat through the centuries - and is still open to debate to this day. Here's a good article which may help
